Director of Business Operations

The Director of Business Operations role is onsite at OSU-Stillwater in Stillwater, OK. Pay is $95,000 to $130,000 per year. The position supports the College of Education and Human Sciences and advises its dean and executive leadership on policy, compliance, operations, and long-term sustainability. The director oversees financial, personnel, operational, and technology functions for a complex academic enterprise. Through leadership of finance, human resources, facilities, and IT operations, the role supports strategic planning, resource allocation, and the college’s academic and administrative units.

What you'll do

• Direct college budgeting, accounting, purchasing, and financial reporting
• lead HR operations across employment, compensation, payroll, and employee relations
• develop and implement college-wide policies and procedures for finance, personnel, IT, and facilities
• supervise managers in Business Operations, Facilities, and IT
• oversee space planning and financial operations
• approve major financial and personnel actions
• represent the college on committees
• contribute to strategic planning and resource allocation.

Why this role

Requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field; 10 years of business-related experience with comprehensive knowledge of nonprofit accounting and budget planning; CPA. Schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with occasional evenings and weekends.
