Maintenance Planner

Job overview

The Maintenance Planner is an onsite role based in Ivor, VA. Compensation is not specified for this position, which supports the maintenance department at West Fraser's wood products facility. This role exists to plan, schedule, and coordinate all plannable maintenance work performed on the worksite. The planner ensures proper maintenance records and files are kept to facilitate meaningful analysis and reporting of maintenance-related matters.

What you'll do

• Review maintenance time sheets, compare completed work orders to time sheets, and reschedule incomplete work.
• Plan and schedule maintenance work orders and PMs daily by priority.
• Manage parts inventory, create purchase requisitions, and schedule outside contractors.
• Interface with Predictive Maintenance Technicians to incorporate condition monitoring data into planned maintenance.
