Industrial Freight & Shipping Associate

The Industrial Freight & Shipping Associate role is an onsite, full-time position in Troy, MI, with a day shift from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday–Friday. Compensation is $20–$22 per hour. The associate supports American Hydrostatics Distribution’s industrial parts operations and freight hub. The role manages industrial parts through receipt, processing, and shipment, maintaining accurate ERP records and coordinating carrier pickups. Careful handling, documentation, and communication help move high-value components through vendor processing and on to customers safely and reliably.

What you'll do

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming industrial parts shipments
• log parts into the ERP system
• move parts through the shipping cycle according to procedures
• prepare, strap, band, and palletize outgoing freight
• operate forklifts and pallet jacks
• print shipping paperwork and coordinate carrier pickups
• maintain accurate movement records
• keep the work area clean, organized, and safe
• communicate shipment status.
