Senior Equipment Maintenance Technician – Semiconductor Fab

The Senior Equipment Maintenance Technician role is full-time and onsite in Fremont, CA, with pay of $37–$43 per hour. The technician supports the laser process team in KYOCERA SLD Laser’s Fremont fab, where the company develops and manufactures gallium nitride laser solutions. The technician maintains semiconductor production and engineering equipment to support process-tool capability in the fab. Preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, calibration, and repair help sustain production, engineering work, and quality programs.

What you'll do

• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and service of semiconductor equipment in a cleanroom
• provide first-line support for testing, diagnostics, and downtime issues
• assist engineers and manufacturing with setup, calibration, system support, failure analysis, and documentation
• support quality programs and audits
• maintain a safe work environment
• manage parts and spares inventory.
