Audit and Assurance Intern

The Audit and Assurance Intern role is onsite in Woburn, MA, for 32 hours per week, Monday through Thursday. Pay is $29 per hour. The intern supports LGA’s Internal Audit and Assurance team and gains hands-on experience in public accounting. The role contributes to audit and assurance engagements by assisting with audits and reviews, developing familiarity with service-line methods, and producing work that meets professional standards with direct instruction.

What you'll do

• Participate in audits and audit reviews
• work on engagements across employee benefit plans, nonprofit organizations, and small and medium-sized for-profit businesses
• use audit software and Microsoft Office tools
• follow up on review notes and revisions
• balance assigned tasks and deadlines.
