National Security Space Business Development

Job overview

The National Security Space Business Development role is onsite in Berthoud, CO, with a base salary range of $86,000–$108,000 per year. Ursa Major develops propulsion and defense systems for national security needs, and this role focuses on U.S. Government space business, especially U.S. Space Force priorities. The role builds government and industry relationships, identifies opportunities, and leads capture strategy and proposal work. By coordinating with engineering, finance, legal, contracts, and program teams, it helps shape executable solutions and pursue business aligned with customer and warfighter needs.

What you'll do

• Build relationships across Space Force, the Intelligence Community, Space Systems Command, Space Development Agency, Air Force Research Lab, Defense Logistics Agency, Department of War, prime contractors, and commercial space customers
• identify and develop opportunities
• lead capture strategy and contribute to proposal writing, reviews, and customer messaging
• represent the company at events and customer meetings
• maintain CRM records
• coordinate internally to shape executable solutions.
