Maintenance Manager, Plant Operations

The Maintenance Manager, Plant Operations role is onsite in Lathrop, CA, with compensation of $125,000–$140,000 per year. The role supports maintenance operations at a manufacturing facility and its production environment. The manager leads technicians and maintenance programs to improve equipment reliability, address downtime, and support production. The position also coordinates maintenance planning, safety and regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement with operations and quality teams.

What you'll do

• Lead and supervise maintenance technicians
• manage preventive maintenance programs, work orders, and equipment reliability initiatives
• coordinate labor schedules, technician assignments, and weekly payroll approvals
• respond to equipment failures and support production by minimizing downtime
• troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and controls-related equipment
• improve spare-parts organization and maintenance documentation
• work with operations and quality teams
• lead root-cause analysis and continuous improvement
• manage vendors, contractors, and OEM relationships
• participate in capital projects and equipment upgrades
• support OSHA, safety, regulatory, and PSM requirements
• oversee ammonia refrigeration maintenance activities and contractor coordination
• develop and mentor maintenance personnel.
