Seasonal Assistant AV & IT Support Technician

The Seasonal Assistant AV & IT Support Technician role is an onsite position in Denver, CO, paying $25 per hour. The position supports National Western facilities and the 2027 National Western Stock Show, an event that advances the organization’s mission in agriculture, education, youth development, and community connection. Working alongside experienced AV and IT professionals, the technician assists with event production and technical operations, including audiovisual systems, computers, networking, and livestreaming. The role helps keep events and day-to-day facility technology functioning through setup, troubleshooting, and support.

What you'll do

• Assist with setup, configuration, testing, operation, and teardown of audiovisual equipment
• support live events, meetings, presentations, tradeshows, and productions
• prepare and troubleshoot presentation and production computers
• assist with livestream and broadcast operations as directed
• help troubleshoot basic AV, connectivity, and equipment issues
• assist with Windows and Mac setup, software, peripherals, basic network connectivity, and Microsoft 365 troubleshooting
• document issues and escalate complex problems.
