Electronic Installation Technician

The Electronic Installation Technician role is onsite in Olathe, KS, with travel to assist other offices expected up to 33% of the position. Compensation is $20–$35 per hour. The role supports Ka-Comm’s critical communications equipment and services across the Midwest. The technician installs, diagnoses, programs, and repairs communications equipment in vehicles and businesses, helping customers use and maintain radio and related systems. The position also responds to emergency repair needs and documents service work; tower climbing above 50 feet is an optional opportunity with additional compensation.

What you'll do

• Install, diagnose, program, and repair analog and digital communications equipment
• use test equipment and hand and power tools
• determine and order materials
• complete and submit service records
• respond to emergency repair needs
• communicate customer changes and issues
• assist other offices as needed.
