What you'll do

• Prepare patients, the surgical suite, and equipment
• assist veterinarians during procedures
• monitor anesthesia and vital signs and report changes
• perform patient preparation tasks such as catheter placement, intubation, and surgical-site preparation as trained and authorized
• maintain aseptic technique and sterilization standards
• monitor recovery and provide post-operative care
• maintain medical records and surgical documentation
• keep the surgery area clean and organized.
