Endoscopy Technician

What you'll do

• Assist physicians and nursing staff during endoscopic procedures
• prepare and transport patients as needed
• prepare procedure suites
• assemble, test, and maintain equipment and supplies
• handle and process specimens
• complete laboratory, pathology, and other documentation
• monitor patients and report changes to the RN
• clean, disinfect, and reprocess endoscopes
• perform room cleaning
• restock supplies
• follow infection-prevention, aseptic, and sterile practices
• participate in quality and safety programs.
