What you'll do

• Prepare patients, rooms, equipment, and instruments
• take vital signs and update medical histories
• explain scheduled treatment, obtain consent, and provide post-operative instructions
• take radiographs and intraoral images
• assist chairside, including suctioning and four-handed dentistry
• administer and monitor nitrous oxide
• chart and manage lab cases
• maintain equipment and supplies
• follow infection-control and safety policies
• help keep the team on schedule.
