What you'll do

• Review and execute provider prescriptions, verifying appropriateness and legality
• organize the pharmacy layout
• control medication inventory, including stocking, labeling, and monitoring
• advise customers
• prepare medications at correct dosages
• maintain patient profiles and dispensing histories
• stay current with HIPAA and Fraud, Waste, and Abuse credentialing
• comply with applicable laws and procedures
• ensure pharmacy and employee compliance
• direct pharmacy technicians’ daily work, provide performance evaluation input, report performance issues, and manage technician schedules.
