Fluid Power Service Technician

The Fluid Power Service Technician role is an onsite position in Milwaukee, WI. Compensation is not specified. The role diagnoses, repairs, assembles, and tests pumps, motors, power units, and hydraulic or pneumatic systems. Accurate inspection and service reporting, along with equipment testing and shop upkeep, help return customer equipment to working condition.

What you'll do

• Investigate malfunctioning hydraulic or pneumatic systems using schematics and diagnostic equipment
• inspect components and determine whether parts can be reworked
• document units in service reports
• diagnose problems and recommend repairs
• pull parts and prepare units for repair
• assemble units to manufacturer specifications
• test repaired units
• adjust components and equipment
• clean and maintain the shop and equipment
• participate in training and continuous improvement
• assist Level I technicians with repairs and training.
