The MIG Welder role is an onsite position located in Brandon, FL, with a pay range of $20-$23 per hour. This role supports the Fabrication Department in the production of structural steel components for heavy equipment. The purpose of this role is to perform precise MIG welding on carbon steel assemblies, including truck frames and loader arms. The welder will interpret engineering blueprints and operate fabrication equipment to ensure structural integrity and quality standards are met.

What you'll do

• Perform MIG (GMAW) welding on carbon steel and structural components.
• Weld structural assemblies including truck frames, loader arms, mounting plates, outriggers, and grapple support structures.
• Interpret and follow engineering drawings, blueprints, fractions, decimals, welding symbols, and work instructions.
• Prepare materials for welding by cutting, grinding, beveling, and cleaning metal surfaces.
• Operate welding machines and related fabrication equipment, ensuring weld quality and structural integrity.
