Senior Engineering Manager, Solar, BESS & Grid Integration

The Senior Engineering Manager, Solar, BESS & Grid Integration role is onsite in Milford, MA, with a stated salary range of $150,000–$170,000 per year. The role supports Arch Energy, which delivers utility-scale solar, battery storage, substation, and grid interconnection projects. This hands-on engineering leader guides technical strategy and design delivery from project pursuit through construction, commissioning, and turnover. The role builds repeatable engineering practices, leads external engineers of record, and helps project teams deliver safe, constructible, reliable, and contract-compliant facilities.

What you'll do

• Direct technical strategy and design delivery from site diligence and bid development through design reviews, construction support, commissioning, and turnover
• lead BESS integration and substation scope
• coordinate multidisciplinary design and constructability reviews
• develop scopes, fees, schedules, deliverables, and interface registers
• partner with estimating, procurement, operations, quality, and commissioning
• support business development
• establish engineering standards and review tools
• maintain site presence for inspections, readiness reviews, testing, and punch-list closure
• translate contracts, interconnection requirements, permits, OEM requirements, and codes into project requirements
• lead technical negotiations.
