Staff Accountant

The Staff Accountant role is onsite in Rochester, MN. Starting pay is $27.66–$41.48 per hour, based on experience. The position supports Olmsted Medical Center’s Finance function. The role exists to support accurate financial records, reporting, budgeting, and management decisions. It prepares and enters closing entries, assists with reports and finance procedures, and supports reconciliations, accounts payable, and fixed-asset accounting.

What you'll do

• Prepare and enter monthly adjusting and closing entries
• assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and governmental surveys
• support development and implementation of Finance procedures
• assist with the annual budget process
• provide financial support to management
• assist with bank reconciliation and accounts payable
• maintain fixed-asset records and prepare monthly fixed-asset reconciliation.

Why this role
