The CDL A Driver role is an onsite position located in Cleveland, TN. The annual pay range is $70,000 to $80,000, and this role supports the food distribution operations at Performance Foodservice. This role exists to ensure the safe and timely delivery of food products to customers. The CDL A Driver contributes to the company's mission by acting as the face of the organization and building lasting relationships with clients while maintaining strict adherence to DOT regulations.

What you'll do

• Communicates and interacts with customers, vendors and co-workers professionally
• Performs all required safety checks (i.e., pre/post trip)
• Reports all safety issues and/or repairs required
• Follows all DOT regulations and company safe driving guidelines
• Inspects trailer for properly loaded and secured freight
• Performs count check of items and check customer invoices
• Drives to and delivers customer orders according to predetermined route delivery schedule
• Unloads products from the trailer
• Performs damage control checks on items
• Verifies delivery of items with customer and obtain proper signatures
• Collects money where required
• Loads customer returns on to trailer
• Completes daily record of hours of service.
