The Movement and Wellness Specialist role is onsite in La Plata, MD, with annual compensation of $50,232. The position supports Spring Dell Center's work with adults with intellectual, developmental, and physical disabilities. The schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. The role develops and facilitates accessible individual and small-group wellness activities to support participants' movement, healthy routines, confidence, and independence. It also tracks engagement and progress toward individualized wellness goals and collaborates with participants' support teams.

What you'll do

• Develop and facilitate movement and wellness activities tailored to participants' abilities, interests, support needs, and goals
• lead individual and small-group sessions
• adapt activities, equipment, and support
• document engagement and progress
• collaborate with support professionals, program staff, families, and caregivers
• maintain wellness activity records
• assist with new initiatives and events.

Why this role

Requires a Certified Adaptive Personal Trainer credential or the ability to obtain it within three months; background in movement/therapies with at least six months' experience and at least one year of personal and group session experience.
