Apartment Business Manager

Job overview

The Apartment Business Manager role is onsite in San Jose, CA. Pay is $24–$26 per hour. The manager supports day-to-day operations at CONAM’s affordable Monterey Road apartment community and may act as person in charge when the Community Manager is absent.

What you'll do

• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and rent payments
• support budgets, financial reports, and cost controls
• oversee leasing from inquiries through move-in
• maintain resident files and compliance records
• assist with marketing and occupancy
• conduct tours and process applications
• address resident concerns
• maintain move-in and move-out records
• support fair housing compliance, office tasks, resident events, and community relationships.

Why this role

Requires one to two years of affordable apartment community experience and experience with HUD, LIHTC, and Section 8. Supervisory experience is preferred.
