What you'll do
- Supervise charge nurses and caregivers
- oversee resident care and clinical systems
- communicate with families and physicians
- assist visiting physicians and obtain samples for lab work as may be required
- monitor resident progress and coordinate care plans
- support nursing staff and direct care
- ensure medications and treatments are administered as ordered
- monitor compliance with safety, infection control, hazardous materials, fire safety, and resident rights
- complete charting and reports
- coordinate resident assessments and MDS documentation.
