Youth Running & Fitness Coach

Job overview

The Youth Running & Fitness Coach role is onsite in Sacramento, CA, with work outdoors and in gyms. Pay is $40–$60 per hour. Impact Kids provides enrichment programs at public and private schools, giving students a safe space to develop, learn, and play. The coach supervises students ages 4–18 and teaches running, fitness, and healthy habits through age-appropriate instruction and activities. The role builds students’ endurance and confidence while maintaining a safe, inclusive environment and tracking progress.

What you'll do

• Provide running and fitness instruction
• teach running form, warm-ups, stretching, pacing, and breathing
• lead games, relays, drills, obstacle courses, and bodyweight exercises
• adapt activities for different fitness levels
• teach hydration and rest
• assess performance and track progress
• supervise safe activity areas
• monitor weather and hydration
• prepare daily plans and collaborate with activity specialists.

Why this role
