Pharmaceutical Packaging Operator

Job overview

The Pharmaceutical Packaging Operator works onsite in Philadelphia, PA, for $14–$15 per hour. Medical Products Labs requires the role to work first and/or second shift, with some weekends and overtime when required. The role packages incoming pharmaceutical products in accordance with batch records, standard operating procedures, current good manufacturing practices, and FDA requirements. It supports production quality by operating packaging equipment, inspecting products, documenting work, and moving completed pallets to the warehouse.

What you'll do

• Set up, start, operate, and close down packaging equipment
• prepare and package products according to batch records and instructions
• fill machine hoppers and product containers
• inspect and remove defective components and filled products
• fold boxes, label shipper boxes, and palletize completed boxes
• move pallets to the warehouse using a pallet jack
• clean equipment, packaging rooms, and work areas
• perform quality checks and report issues, accidents, or unsafe conditions
• follow cGMP, FDA regulations, SOPs, batch records, and company policies.
