Trail Treks Director

The Trail Treks Director role is onsite in Glen Jean, West Virginia. Compensation is $2,000–$2,100 per month. Summit Bechtel Reserve is an outdoor adventure and education facility that provides transformative experiences for Scouts and other youth. The director develops and oversees bikepacking and backpacking trek programs through the New River Gorge. The role supports safe, meaningful participant experiences by coordinating logistics, training and supervising staff, and ensuring program equipment and records are properly managed.

What you'll do

• Develop and prepare bikepacking and backpacking programs
• provide logistical support
• train and supervise staff
• assist with program equipment setup and takedown
• ensure equipment is inventoried and returned in good repair
• complete paperwork accurately and on time
• maintain a safe and organized work area
• model the Scout Oath and Law.
