The Security Flex Officer — Utility Company role is onsite in Fremont, CA. Pay is $27 per hour. Allied Universal provides security and facility services to clients across industries. The officer helps safeguard client sites by conducting patrols, monitoring access and unusual conditions, responding to emergencies, documenting incidents, and assisting customers, employees, and visitors. The flex schedule allows officers to view and claim open shifts based on availability, and may involve irregular shifts with little or no advance notice.

What you'll do

• Conduct security patrols on foot or in a vehicle
• watch for unusual conditions and safety hazards
• sound alarms or contact police or fire services when needed
• warn people of rule violations
• monitor entrances and exits and permit authorized access
• observe departing personnel to protect company property
• investigate and report accidents, incidents, and suspicious activity
• assist customers, employees, and visitors
• make emergency notifications according to site orders.
