Global Security Control Center Supervisor

The Global Security Control Center Supervisor role is onsite in Fort Belvoir, VA. Compensation is not specified. The Security Operations Center supports the Missile Defense Agency’s facilities, resources, personnel, meetings, missions, and conferences nationally and internationally. The supervisor oversees GSCC operators and monitors and responds to emergencies affecting MDA personnel and assets. The role coordinates emergency communications, supports emergency preparedness and continuity-of-operations processes, and serves as an interface between the SOC and MDA management when directed.

What you'll do

• Serve as a focal point for emergency communications with SOC staff, Agency Directorates, and host installations
• assess emergencies at MDA facilities and notify SOC management
• develop and propose ways to maintain security awareness and emergency preparedness
• integrate emergency management processes, checklists, and special security instructions
• understand the MDA Continuity of Operations program and implement it when directed
• interface between the SOC and MDA management under COOP scenarios when directed.
