What you'll do

• Assist the Director of Nursing with administrative duties and nursing staff supervision
• liaise among nursing units, admissions, and the DON
• facilitate meetings on resident care
• monitor weights, meals, breaks, and resident satisfaction
• evaluate staff and recommend training
• assist with departmental budgets
• audit charts and documentation
• ensure competency evaluations and reviews are completed
• address survey and standards-of-care issues
• support nursing operations in the DON’s absence
• participate in the nurse on-call system.
