Hospice Billing Specialist

What you'll do

• Prepare and submit hospice claims to Medicare, Medicaid, commercial insurance, and other payers
• verify patient demographics and insurance eligibility
• monitor claims and follow up on rejections, denials, and balances
• assist with accounts receivable and payment resolution
• correct billing discrepancies
• maintain information in EMR and billing systems
• assist with audits and payer requests
• follow applicable billing and privacy requirements.
