Principal Industrial Security Representative in Centreville, VA. This is an onsite, full-time position with a salary range of $105,300.00 - $190,350.00 per year. Leidos is seeking an individual to support a large-scale program, focusing on counterintelligence awareness, personnel security clearance processing, and managing SCIF physical security requirements for an intelligence community customer.

What you'll do

• Maintain and manage program security requirements to include all customer compliance requirements. Provide security clearance processing, physical/industrial security, computer investigations, and security operations support. Prepare and disseminate security requirements, guidance, and procedures. Provide Clearance and SCI briefing/debriefing to employees. Ensure personnel are aware of the reporting responsibilities such as Foreign Contact, Foreign Travel and Outside Activities. Track Government contractor badge renewal submission. Receive, control and safeguard SCI and collateral information. Collaborate with members of the DoD, the IC and other officials as required to maintain knowledge and understanding of current security regulations. Monitor, update, and maintain appropriate records (e.g. database and hardcopy) of security actions. Coordinate information with internal and external security offices and divisions. Interpret security policy on matters pertaining to processing, dissemination, and controlling of classified materials. Monitor and manage security operations and provide status reports and recommendations. Create, manage, and execute Security Awareness and CI training programs. Collaborate with internal and external managers to ensure understanding of program operations. Draft or create security volumes for Request for Information or Proposals. Work closely with program manage team and government customer. Conduct foreign travel pre-post foreign travel briefings. Author CI briefings and provide counterintelligence updates. Conduct initial inquiries and write final reports related to security incidents and violations. Respond to after hour intrusion detection systems (during the week and on weekends). Maintain program security requirements to include
• updating SOPs, maintaining personnel records via SIMs, updating and maintaining security education and awareness programs.

Bachelor's degree

Experience

Bachelor's degree with 12+ years of experience in industrial / physical security. Additional years of relevant industrial security experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
