The Patient Dining Associate (Dietary Aide) role is onsite at Central State Hospital in Louisville, KY. Compensation is $17–$19 per hour. Culinary Services Group provides food service management to senior care, hospital, and behavioral health communities. The schedule includes rotating shifts from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and 10:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., occasional 6:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. shifts, and every other weekend from 6:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. The associate supports patient safety and satisfaction by helping patients select meals and ensuring trays are assembled and delivered accurately and on time. The role coordinates with nursing, caregivers, culinary staff, and dietitians to account for nutritional requirements, restrictions, and patient preferences.

What you'll do

• Help patients understand menu selections and coordinate with nursing on nutritional requirements
• work with caregivers and culinary staff on menu alternatives
• manage tray tickets and assemble, deliver, and retrieve meal trays
• follow food safety, infection control, confidentiality, and sanitation procedures
• communicate patient concerns
• complete required reports.
