What you'll do

• Perform phlebotomy using established patient identification, preparation, collection, and labeling procedures
• verify patient demographics and insurance information
• process and route samples and billing information
• generate laboratory charges and payment information
• maintain supplies and inventory
• keep the work area clean and follow bloodborne pathogen procedures
• coordinate billing issues with genetic laboratories
• participate in quality assurance activities and protect computer and patient information.
