The Assembly, Integration, and Test Engineering Intern (AI&T) — Summer 2027 role is onsite in Redondo Beach, CA, for a 12-week internship running May or June through August or September 2027. Pay is $30 per hour. The intern works across engineering teams to help build and test spacecraft. The role contributes to reliable, high-performance spacecraft development through test-system design, hardware setup and troubleshooting, test operations, documentation, and assembly tooling. Assignments may be with Automation & Controls, Integration, Development Test, or Test Automation.

What you'll do

• Design and build fluid, mechanical, and electrical test systems for propulsion and spacecraft testing
• collaborate with teams in Redondo Beach and Mojave
• perform test setup, hardware inspections, checkouts, and troubleshooting
• conduct test operations
• write and maintain work instructions and test plans
• develop methods to accelerate vehicle build and processing
• support assembly and transport with tooling and fixtures
• resolve technical issues.
