Quality Control Inspector/Welding Specialist

The Quality Control Inspector/Welding Specialist role is onsite in Currie, NC; compensation is $18–$25 per hour, depending on experience. This is a contract-to-hire position with System One, which provides outsourced services and workforce solutions. The role monitors incoming and outgoing materials and production procedures to help ensure products meet specifications and quality standards. It includes inspecting dimensions, welds, leak tests, and finished workmanship, while supporting audits, material movement, and shop safety.

What you'll do

• Inspect incoming and outgoing products and materials
• read blueprints and specifications
• measure dimensions and compare products with requirements
• resolve quality issues
• verify parts against drawings and tolerances
• perform leak and other quality tests
• inspect finished paint and stenciling
• verify accessible welds against applicable codes
• support audits
• move materials as needed
• follow safety procedures and use required PPE.
