The Machinist role is onsite in White Salmon, WA. Pay is $30–$45 per hour. The machinist supports Applied Aerospace & Defense’s work producing aerospace structures and components. The role programs, sets up, and operates CNC and manual machines to produce high-tolerance parts. Inspection, preventive maintenance, and process improvement help ensure components meet design specifications and production quality standards.

What you'll do

• Create and modify CNC programs
• set up tooling and fixtures
• operate CNC and manual mills, lathes, and grinders
• adjust tools and machine offsets
• inspect parts with precision measuring instruments
• support process improvement and quality reviews
• perform preventive maintenance
• follow safety protocols
• coordinate production work with the team.

Why this role

At least three years of machining, aerospace, or precision manufacturing experience is required; ITAR eligibility is required. Vocational training and welding experience are preferred.
