The Program Assistant, Prevention Services is an onsite, part-time position in Bath, NY, paying $20 per hour. The schedule is 21 hours per week, Monday through Wednesday, seven hours per day. Catholic Charities Steuben/Livingston serves people seeking help and works to build caring communities. The assistant coordinates daily operations for the Steuben Prevention Coalition Opioid Committee, supporting collaboration and capacity building among community partners and helping advance efforts to reduce substance abuse among youth and adults.

What you'll do

• Coordinate committee project implementation, membership, recruitment, orientation, and leadership nominations
• collect and analyze monthly data and prepare reports
• engage multi-sector partners
• assist with committee meetings
• manage timelines, documentation, and deliverables
• arrange meeting spaces and equipment
• coordinate community meetings, forums, health fairs, and table events
• assist with social media, newsletters, and website updates.

Why this role

A bachelor’s degree in health or a related field is strongly desired, and at least one year of relevant experience is required. A valid New York State driver’s license and reliable, registered, insured vehicle are required.
