The Application Engineer 3 (24x7) role is onsite in Fort Meade, MD, with rotating 12-hour shifts from 6 a.m.–6 p.m. or 6 p.m.–6 a.m. Pay is $64.39–$87.19 per hour. The role supports Wyetech’s federal government customers through the Secure the Enterprise initiative. The position helps shift system security evaluation and authorization from manual processes toward automation, streamlined approvals, continuous monitoring, and network data gathering. It combines application support, systems administration, and operations work to maintain system health and reliable data flows on the watch floor.

What you'll do

• Monitor and maintain application systems
• track metrics, logs, dashboards, alerts, and application status
• troubleshoot performance and system issues
• identify service degradation, failed data flows, and errors and escalate as needed
• perform basic Linux administration
• use AWS Console or AWS CLI for instance health checks and operational troubleshooting
• provide 24/7 watch-floor support on rotating shifts.
