Azure Data Engineer (Hybrid)

The Azure Data Engineer role is hybrid in Charlotte, NC, for a 12-month contract. Compensation is $65–$71 per hour. The role is part of the Data Strategy team supporting Capital Markets and Securities teams and related broker-dealer and swap-dealer entities. The engineer develops the organization’s Azure data platform and contributes to a reference data system for securities and pricing data, with planned expansion into additional domains. The work supports scalable data solutions through collaboration with internal technology and data teams.

What you'll do

• Develop the data platform in coordination with internal technology and data teams
• contribute to a reference data system for securities and pricing data
• implement the strategic platform on Azure
• design, develop, and implement scalable data solutions
• use Azure services, Data Factory, Data Lake Gen2, Databases, Data Fabric, API Gateway Management, Functions, and Databricks
• develop APIs using FastAPI or similar Python frameworks
• work with SQL, ETL/ELT, Git, Jenkins, and CI/CD.
