Settlement Accountant

The Settlement Accountant role is an onsite position based in Houston, TX. This role exists to ensure accurate accounting for crude oil barrel movements. The incumbent will prepare settlement confirmation schedules, reconcile accounts, and communicate effectively with customers and internal departments to resolve discrepancies and maintain financial integrity.

What you'll do

• Prepare Settlement Confirmation Schedules
• communicate amounts due
• identify and follow up on discrepancies
• reconcile net amounts and aged accounts receivable/payable
• update control logs
• distribute invoices
• update crude oil prices and gravity
• assist with audits
• prepare disclosure schedules
• maintain procedural documentation.
