Care Companion

Job overview

The Care Companion role is onsite in Healdsburg, CA, with pay of $23.50–$26 per hour. The role supports residents at Enso Village, a Zen-inspired senior living community focused on mindful aging, nature, sustainability, and contemplative care. The companion supports residents’ daily living, well-being, and engagement across Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care. Through person-centered assistance, companionship, communication, and safe surroundings, the role contributes to residents’ quality of life.

What you'll do

• Provide respectful, person-centered support in Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care
• assist with mobility, grooming, bathing, eating, and other daily activities
• monitor and report changes in condition or behavior
• document care needs
• build relationships through conversation and active listening
• encourage hobbies, social activities, and wellness programs
• accompany residents to meals, appointments, or walks as appropriate
• assist with tidying, laundry, and meal preparation when needed
• identify safety hazards
• coordinate schedules and transportation needs
• communicate with residents, families, and team members
• follow policies, care standards, emergency procedures, and training requirements.
