What you'll do

• Lead structural analysis for UAV airframes, substructures, and critical components
• define and execute finite element modeling approaches, load cases, assumptions, and margin assessments
• perform or oversee static, modal, fatigue, vibration, and damage-tolerance analyses
• establish practices for hand calculations, model validation, and analysis-to-test correlation
• optimize structures for performance, weight, cost, and manufacturability
• support structural test strategy and correlate results
• review analysis deliverables and technical documentation
• mentor structural analysts
• partner with design, loads, aerodynamics, propulsion, and systems teams
• improve analysis methodologies and standards.
