Under the Director of Acute Care Services, the nurse provides safe, effective, quality patient- and family-centered care. The role monitors critically ill patients, responds to changes in condition, coordinates care with the health team, and contributes to unit operations and quality initiatives.

What you'll do

  • Provide patient- and family-centered critical care
  • monitor ICU and telemetry rhythms and respond to alarms
  • assess patients, identify complications, and intervene appropriately
  • administer and titrate IV drips
  • assist with emergency procedures and line placement
  • communicate patient status and care needs
  • participate in quality improvement, mentoring, and unit operations.
