The Early Childhood Learning Teacher Assistant role is onsite at the Healthy Kids Programs Early Learning Center in Waterloo, NY. Pay is $16.00 per hour, and hours vary between 6:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. The position supports the center’s early learning program for the 2026–2027 school year. The assistant helps facilitate hands-on learning and positive adult-child interactions, communicates children’s daily experiences to families, and supports classroom health, welfare, and safety. The role contributes to children’s learning and development through activities tailored to their needs and interests.

What you'll do

• Collaborate with the School-Age Childcare Lead to facilitate hands-on activities aligned with the Creative Curriculum
• communicate with parents and family members through the Playground App
• foster positive adult-child interactions using the CLASS method
• support classroom and center health, welfare, and safety by following ECERS/ITERS standards and protocols.
