Child Care Specialist

The Child Care Specialist role is onsite in Cicero, IL, with posted compensation of $17.05–$20.55 per hour. UCP Seguin of Greater Chicago supports children with developmental disabilities or complex medical needs in its foster care program. The specialist provides direct support to help children build daily living, interpersonal, and community skills based on individualized Service Plans. The role includes emotional support, hands-on assistance, progress documentation, foster-family support, transportation to appointments, and participation in interdisciplinary meetings.

Why this role

High school diploma or GED and age 21 or older required; six months’ experience with individuals with developmental disabilities or medical complexities preferred; valid Illinois driver’s license and insurance required; training in medication administration, defensive driving, First Aid, and CPR must be obtainable.
