Assistant Property Manager

Job overview

The Assistant Property Manager role is onsite at Lewis Place in Raleigh, NC, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and occasional weekends. Pay is $23.00–$24.50 per hour based on experience. Lewis Place is part of Volunteers of America National Services, which provides housing and healthcare services. The Assistant Property Manager supports daily property operations, resident relations, leasing and compliance administration, rent processing, maintenance coordination, inspections, and audit preparation. The role helps maintain stable housing operations and resident support at a site that accepts Section 8 vouchers.

What you'll do

• Assist with occupancy and maintenance
• process applications, background checks, certifications, rent calculations, and leasing documents
• coordinate maintenance requests with residents, staff, and vendors
• process rent and assist with payables
• support inspections and repairs
• prepare for audits
• maintain resident and property files and waiting lists
• prepare resident notices
• order office supplies.
