The Maintenance Worker role is onsite in Albert Lea, MN. Compensation is $19.09–$23.25 per hour, and the position is part-time with an expected 23.25 hours per week. St. John’s is a nonprofit continuum of care serving elders in the Albert Lea community. The worker helps keep the property clean, safe, and well maintained inside and out. The role supports residents and tenants, maintains equipment and grounds, and completes building upkeep and safety tasks, including a scheduled weekend on-call rotation.

What you'll do

• Stock and put away items
• maintain grounds and buildings
• remove snow and spread salt
• assist residents and tenants with tasks such as hanging pictures, changing light bulbs, and moving furniture
• perform general maintenance and inspect roofs and roof air units
• maintain tools and equipment
• remove trash and recycling
• inspect fire extinguishers and record inspections
• assist with drills and alarms
• follow safety procedures
• participate in the on-call weekend rotation.
