What you'll do

• Perform general and vascular ultrasound studies
• select transducers and adjust equipment controls
• explain procedures and assist with patient positioning
• verify orders and select exams from the worklist
• label and measure images and send them to PACS via DICOM
• work independently in emergency and operating room settings
• consult physicians or supervisors regarding results.

Why this role

Requires an associate degree or equivalent in Ultrasound Technology, registration with ARDMS, ARRT(S), or equivalent, Registered Vascular Technologist status or equivalent, and current CPR certification. Must be available for shifts outside scheduled shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays; a rotating call schedule may be required.
