Deck Supervisor

The Deck Supervisor role is onsite in Minnetonka, MN, with compensation of $17–$24 per hour. The position supports Goldfish Swim School’s mission to teach children to swim and be safer in and around the water. The supervisor manages an assigned shift, guides on-deck employees, and helps ensure consistent delivery of the swim curriculum. The role also maintains the pool environment and communicates with students’ parents or guardians about progress.

What you'll do

• Lead, discipline, and provide constructive feedback to instructors and deck teachers
• ensure quality delivery of the curriculum
• evaluate instructors and deck teachers
• discuss student progress with parents or guardians
• complete shift logs and monitor attendance
• coordinate facility cleanliness
• arrange coverage for absent employees
• maintain pool chemical levels
• substitute as a swim instructor when necessary.

Why this role

Part-time shifts are 4–5 hours. Requires two or more years as a swim instructor and Lifeguard, CPR/AED, and First Aid certifications; paid training and certification are provided. Available shifts include Monday–Thursday, 3–7 p.m., and Saturday–Sunday, 8 a.m.–1 p.m.
