The Information Systems Security Officer role is onsite at the U.S. Government customer location at Redstone Arsenal, AL. The salary range is $133,500–$203,750 per year. The position supports the U.S. Army’s Search Track Acquire Radiate Eliminate (STARE) Product Office. The officer leads cybersecurity authorization and compliance work across assigned products and Foreign Military Sales efforts. By assessing risks, coordinating security activities, and advising program and engineering stakeholders, the role supports secure system delivery and sustainment throughout the system lifecycle.

What you'll do

• Lead Risk Management Framework and Authority to Operate activities, including documentation and authorization deliverables
• assess system security, vulnerabilities, and compliance gaps
• recommend risk mitigations
• coordinate security assessments, testing, remediation, and authorization milestones
• interpret DoD and Army cybersecurity requirements
• coordinate Foreign Military Sales cybersecurity compliance
• prepare technical documentation and briefings.
