The Flight Dynamicist is an onsite position based in Beavercreek, OH, with an annual salary range of $87,100 to $157,450. This role supports the Leidos Defense Systems Advanced Development Organization in creating solutions for complex aerospace problems. The role exists to perform detailed modeling, simulation, and trajectory analysis for missiles, hypersonic vehicles, and space systems. The Flight Dynamicist will contribute to vehicle design and performance evaluation by conducting stability, control, and mission effectiveness studies across a multi-disciplinary team.

What you'll do

• Develop and analyze 3DOF and 6DOF flight dynamics models, perform trajectory design and optimization, and validate guidance, navigation, and control algorithms.
