What you'll do

• Maintain electronic medical records and obtain medical and family histories
• facilitate insurance referrals and prior authorizations
• notify patients of test results and provide provider-directed instructions
• take and record vital signs
• perform treatments and tests when trained
• collect specimens and perform waived lab tests when trained
• maintain quality control
• assist with scheduling, screenings, procedures, and patient education
• prepare exam rooms and supplies
• maintain confidentiality and safety.
